I lost one of my newly met co-worker, Pearl. Part of retails that drives me crazy is that the communication part is sad. I had to learn that from a piece of paper. I wish someone would come and tell me in person. I also wish I could tell her goodbye.
How can this happen? I mean, she just told me how she has been trying to keep her job. And now, she got fired because of not showing up for work. A part of me be truly believes she cares. But then, how can a person be stupid enough to do a no call no show if you care about the job? I don't know. I guess no one can tell but Pearl herself. I am just speechless.
I guess the moral of the story is, never be so attached in retail world because people mostly come and go.
